Corporate Training and Development Manager

Brief Summary of Position
The Corporate Training & Development Manager will
be responsible for the focused expansion of our company-wide
training and professional development programs. This person
will lead the design, development and implementation of training
solutions for employees throughout the firm to meet Geneva's
existing and future objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop training curriculum for traders, management and support
staff that contains valuable and relevant content pertaining
to each level and area of expertise within the organization.
Provide tools and resources for the professional development
of Geneva's existing traders.
Formulate a base training program that will introduce all
new employees to the company's specific industry markets and
products.
Build an on-going training curriculum for new and existing
managers that will provide the knowledge and tools for them
to manage their staff in a fair and effective manner.
Work with other training team members to establish standard
best practices for all training and professional development
programs.
Establish goals and metrics to measure the success of training
sessions.
Prepare feedback and analysis of training sessions to management.
Develop and maintain a tool to track education requirements
and completion
Continuously evaluate and update the educational delivery
methods to ensure that they are fresh and engaging.
Collaborate with managers across the organization in order
to coordinate training programs in support of the changing
needs of Geneva Trading.
Maintain key relationships with internal and external resources.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of a variety of asset classes, futures
products, and trading strategies
Strong knowledge of current training methodologies, including
web-based tools
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Proven ability to lead and motivate
Strategic and creative thinker
Educational/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
A minimum of 3 - 5 years training or organizational development
experience, preferably in the financial trading industry
