Geneva Trading Appoints Mary M. McDonnell
to President and CEO

Geneva Trading today appointed Mary
M. McDonnell to President and CEO. Geneva Trading was founded
in 1999 in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin office employs more than
50 traders and support staff. The greater Dublin area is a primary
recruiting area for Geneva.
Prior to her appointment at Geneva Trading, McDonnell
served as the Senior
Vice President at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT), where she was
responsible for all electronic trading and most recently spearheaded
the selection
process and implementation of the CBOT migration to LIFFE CONNECT™.
She
joined the CBOT in May of 2000 as Project Manager and Managing Director
of
a/c/e, the CBOT’s electronic alliance with Eurex.
From 1997 to 1999, McDonnell was the Executive Vice
President of the Bermuda
Commodities Exchange (BCOE). Her responsibilities at the BCOE included
the
development, implementation and operations of the first Internet
based electronic
futures exchange. From 1979 through 1996, McDonnell was the Chief
Financial
Officer and Operating Officer of Griffin Trading, a global futures
clearing firm, as
well as President of Griffin Asset Management International Ltd,
an asset
allocation firm in the futures industry.
